Kuala Lumpur November 2023 “Another Reminder”

After a short holiday following my son's wedding it was back to Malaysia. I had been many months since I had been able to go to my usual church and I was looking forward to seeing many of my friends again. First though we would have to find a car parking space and that was usually not easy. As we entered the first car park level I looked around for an empty spot. To my surprise, right by the entrance was a vacant spot whilst the rest of the car park looked full. It didn't take much discussion to decide that this was too good to pass by so we parked the car and walked over to the lift. As we did so I scanned the rows of cars looking for another space but there wasn't one.
Regular readers of my blog will know that empty car parking spaces have featured before in my stories. Now I would expect to occasionally quickly find one due to random chance so you would be right to assume that I would not be mentioning this unless there is something more to follow. Let us just say that when one is found so quickly I do look out for whether that was truly by chance or divine intervention. I would be deciding today was the latter.
Our Pastor's message today was based on submission, that is doing what God tells you to do. Well I have been writing this blog for several years and promising, every few months, to get it online for people to read. After last week's church service in Australia which carried a similar message I decided this was a subtle way of reminding me to get the blog online. As I left the church I promised to prioritise this above my other leisure pursuits. I hope to make progress on it this week.
