Melbourne February 2015 "Upgraded!"

Our honeymoon holiday is coming to its end. We have flown back from New Zealand to spend a bit more time with my wife's sons and to celebrate a birthday with them. Now it is time to head to the airport for the overnight flight home. We are there with plenty of time to spare and join the queue to check in. When it is our turn I hand over our passports and wait for the tickets to be printed. There appears to be a bit of a problem and it takes longer than normal for the machine to print the boarding passes. The staff member at the check in desk looks at the tickets, smiles and then looks up at us and says "You've been upgraded to business class. I hope you enjoy your flight". Wow, you bet we'll enjoy our flight!
My wife is thrilled. Seats that recline for a good night's snooze, better meals and for me a whole bottle of wine to enjoy during the flight. We had never asked to be upgraded, it just happened. We have had a marvellous holiday and what a way for it to finish.
