Kuala Lumpur 2016 “Peace in the House”

The second time I thought I saw something that wasn't my own imagination also came out of one of the Friday prayer sessions. It concerned our home. From the outside it is nothing special but several people have told us they get a feeling of peace and calmness once they enter our house. I always found it surprising to see our cats ignoring the birds that were feeding less than a metre away from them. In the UK birds wouldn't be in the garden if they knew there was a cat about.

The morning I saw this vision was no different to the others. I am sitting down and trying to blank out all thoughts in my mind, ignoring those that are probably my invention. Then I see an image of our house as though I am from 50m above the house next door. (So in effect I am looking at it from a slight angle). This is unusual so I dwell on this thought for a while. As I look at the house a stream of what looks like water starts to pour down from the sky and go through the roof into the house. The stream is about as wide as a chimney would be in the UK, at most 1m by 1m. It isn't bouncing off the roof, it just disappears into the building. I'm a little suspicious about this. It might be a random thought but is it meaningful? So I ask a question, “If this thought is worth spending time on show me something unusual”. Immediately I could see where the stream entered the house it had turned red. Now, like most people, my dreams are in black and white not colour, so to see some colour in what was essentially a black and white picture caught my attention so I stayed with this.

I suddenly found myself inside the living room of the house. This was where we hosted the Church Contact Group meetings every two weeks and where our prayer sessions were held. The water was cascading into the room and hitting the ground before swelling up the sides of the walls like waves. I was looking towards the front door and realised that the room was not filling with water, it was just bouncing off the floor and walls. The door opened and the water flooded out across the empty ground next door and on towards the city centre like an ever expanding shock wave. It was then I realised it wasn't water I was looking at, it was a representation of the Holy Spirit flowing out of our house.

I saw nothing more than this and mulled over in my mind whether this was a false thought. The appearance of red as the spirit entered our house had a familiar ring to what happened in the Asuza Street Revival. There fire would come out of the chimney because of the strength of prayers inside the building. We had seen a programme on YouTube about this some months ago so that would be a recent memory.
