Kuala Lumpur May 2025 "Moving house"

Two years ago we moved from our house to a condominium (which is basically a block of flats with a swimming pool and a gym). We weren't expecting to stay here forever but it was a good place to be whilst we considered our options. What we didn't expect was that the sale of our house would fall through and the buyer pulled out leaving us paying for both the house and the condo! You may ask why we moved before the sale had gone through. The contract for sale specified we had to moved out within two weeks of the money being paid and not at a date agreed between buyer and seller. As the buyer said they didn't need a bank loan we had to plan to move immediately and did so. Then the buyer ran out of money and couldn't get a loan! The property stayed on the market and despite many people turning up to view it none were prepared to buy it. So two years on we are ready to move back to our house.

On the day of our move the afternoon weather forecast is for heavy rain, well that's not a surprise as it often does rain around four o'clock. However that is going to be a problem for us as the removal lorry will be parked in the street and the furniture and boxes will need to be carried 50m from there to the house. That won't happen in the rain. So as I did what I have done several times before, like
this, that there would be no rain to disrupt our move. God has done that before for me and he will do it again when it really matters.

The removal company emptied the condo into their lorry before lunchtime and we all rested for an hour before setting off to the house. My wife and I went to a local place to eat and I looked up at the sky for heading towards us was a thick black thunderstorm cloud. I reckoned it might be upon us in an hour exactly the wrong time as that would be when the lorry was unloading its contents. I prayed again, reminding God of the importance of this to me (as if he needed reminding). We had our lunch and came out of the shop to find the sky had cleared. There were still clouds but these were not threatening rain and indeed there was none throughout the whole day. Our house move went well and we are now back to where I started this blog ten yers ago.
